The Authority Monitoring Report (AMR) is a legislative requirement under Regulation 34 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2012.

It is the main tool for assessing the performance and impact of East Hampshire District Council’s Development Plan and the timescales set out in the Local Development Scheme (LDS).

The AMR has two purposes:

  • To monitor progress towards local development documents
  • To monitor the effectiveness of policies set out in local development documents.

All of our published AMRs can be viewed below. AMRs were previously known as annual monitoring reports.

These reports are based on financial years.
