    Business grants

    The Start-up Incentive Grants scheme is now closed. Details of the scheme, intended to make a positive contribution towards the cost of creating a new small business, will be on the website when it re-opens.  

    An application pack is available for download, including application form. Applicants will be put on a waiting list, subject to the scheme re-opening.

    Note: The Start-up Incentive Grants Scheme is exclusive to the East Hampshire area. Businesses outside the East Hampshire area should contact their Local Authorities.


    Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE)

    As part of the RDPE, the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) is allocating LEADER funding to Local Action groups. The Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) is jointly funded by the UK Government - Defra (the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) and the EU through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD): Europe investing in rural areas.

     

    LEADER funding 2008 - 2013

    East Hampshire District Council and Winchester City Council successfully led a bid for financial support from the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), a regional development agency. 

    The Fieldfare Local Action group (LAG) submitted the bid on behalf of East Hampshire and Winchester.The Local Action Group consists of a wide range of sector and industry representatives.

    Training programmes for Farmers and Foresters

    SEEDA, through the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) is funding training programmes for farmers and Foresters. The programmes include:

    LANTRA/RBAT Measure 111 farmer and forester training.

    The LandSkills  South East Programme is aimed at developing the business skills  of the region's agricultural, hortcultural and forestry industries. The training programme is managed by Lantra Sector Skills Council in partnership with Rural Business Advice and Training (RBAT) Network.

    Livestock Health South East

    The programme offers farmers in the region the opportunity to benefit from high quality training and knowledge exchange. The programme is focused on improving animal health and welfare.
