Active Lifestyles in East Hampshire
We are working to encourage people to fit more physical activity into their everyday lives.
Our advice for keeping fit and healthy is to do at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity on most, if not all days of the week.
The easiest ways to do this include;
- walking or cycling to and from work or school
- getting off the bus a stop early and walking the rest of the way
- having a kick-about with the kids
- doing a local dance or exercise class
- joining a local club or group
- taking the stairs instead of the lift
- parking in the further parking space away from where you need to be
- putting a bit more ‘elbow grease’ into the cleaning
- doing some heavy gardening
