Improving people's health and wellbeing requires involvement from many agencies. The 'Give it a Go!' project could not exist without the help of the following organisations within East Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

Sport England - Sport England is committed to creating opportunities for people in England to not only start in sport but also to stay and succeed in sport. The organisation also promotes and invests in sport and is responsible for delivering the Governments sporting objectives. The Get Active project could not exist without the help of Sport England as they have funded the Rural Active Lifestyles Coordinators post.

Hampshire Primary Care Trust - For information regarding health services in Hampshire including GPs, dentists, pharmacies, opticians, community hospitals, mental health and wider health care professionals. This is the newly formed Hampshire wide PCT that has seen seven PCTs (including North Hants and East Hants) merge as of 1st October 2006.

Hampshire County Council - Represents the whole county and is responsible for providing essential servies to one and a quarter million people. Hampshire County Council's main tasks include Arts and Culture, Business and Economic Development, Education and Learning, Health and Social Care, Leisure and Tourism, Libraries, Road Maintenence, Trading Standards and Travel and Transport.

East Hampshire Network - For information regarding Community Associations and Community Support Organisations within East Hampshire. The network seeks to develop and support new community activities such as the rural cinema project and the Healthy Hampshire Festival 2006.

DC Leisure - Specialises in the development and management of leisure facilities in partnership with Local Authorities. DC Leisure aims to optimise the performance of public leisure centres to better serve local communities. Their ultimate aim is more people, more active, more often.

Horndean Technology College - 'Striving for Excellence' is Horndean Techology College's main aim. It provides secondary education for local young people and is a specialist school focusing on technology.

Bohunt School and Centre - Bohunt school is a co-educational comprehensive school for 11-16 year olds in Liphook. It is a designated language college. Bohunt School and Centre also provide a number of activities for adults outside of school hours.

Community First East Hampshire - Exists in East Hampshire to help voluntary and community groups to succeed through effective support, information and guidance. They also encourage voluntary activities for all to be involved in.

Sport Hampshire & IOW - Information from the County based sports partnership. Specific sports development officers can be found on this site as can information about different sports in the County.

East Hampshire Disability Forum - This forum exists to represent disabled people in East Hampshire. The EHDF have chosen Active Lifestyles as their theme for 2006/07.

Forestry Commission - The Government Department responsible for the protection and expansion of Britain's forests and woodlands.
