Catherington Cemetery

The cemetery at Catherington was opened in 1966 and is situated in a tranquil location on grounds adjacent to All Saints Church, Catherington Lane.

Its elevated position affords views across the surrounding farmland and on clear days, to the Solent beyond.

Throughout the cemetery, there are tap points and refuse bins for your use.

There are no designated parking areas at Catherington Cemetery. However, there is a car park on the opposite side of Catherington Lane.

By road

From junction 2 of the A3(M), follow Dell Piece West past Morrison’s supermarket to the A3 intersection. Continue straight on down Catherington Lane, past Horndean Technology College and across the subsequent roundabout towards Catherington. The cemetery is located on the right, just past Catherington Infant School with parking available at the adjoining village hall or the opposite South Downs car park.

Public Transport

Trains from London Waterloo to Portsmouth run at least every half an hour seven days a week. Due to the rural location of this cemetery however, no direct local bus service exists from either of the two nearest train stations, Havant or Petersfield. There are however many local taxi services available.
