You can download appeal application forms from the Planning Inspectorate website.

You can also see appeal decisions issued after July 2005.

It is not yet possible for the Inspectorate to send copies of appeal decisions electronically but they can be ordered from dl.library@planning-inspectorate.gsi.gov.uk

Venues for Hearings and Inquiries

The timetabling and administration of planning appeals are carried out by the Planning Inspectorate, in liaison with the Council.

Where appeals are being dealt with by Hearing or Public Inquiry, venues are arranged by the Council and we endeavour to hold  them within the relevant parish to the application site. Where a village hall or other venue is unavailable on the date,  we will use that of an adjoining or nearest available parish.
