The Planning Portal is a national one-stop online shop for planning information and services through which you can:

Once you have registered with the portal, you can complete your application forms and submit plans and other documentation.
If you find you need to submit further information with your application, it can be saved in draft on the portal. It can then be completed once you have the additional information.
You can also submit the applicaton form online and provide other documentation by post. This should be particularly useful if you are submitting through the Planning Portal for the first time, or are unsure of the process.
You can also pay application fees online. You will be told the amount you need to pay once the application is completed.
