    Grayshott Cricket ClubWe help develop clubs and coaches at all levels by:

    • Providing coach education opportunities to new and exisiting volunteers to ensure high quality coaching levels
    • Supporting clubs reach club accreditation and developing sports development plans
    • Supporting clubs in taster sessions, participation programmes and events
    • Providing funding support and advice

    EHDC has a full time Community Sports Coach who delivers basketball and netball opportunities across East Hampshire in schools, clubs, leisure centres and much more.

    There are a range of generic coaching courses across Hampshire.

    Return to Sport

    Return to Sport is a national programme aimed at anyone who has never played a particular sport before or for anyone wanting to take a sport up again after a break.

    Clubs can get funding to run 8 - 12 week introductory programmes, which will help them increase their membership or develop new teams.

    Successful programmes which have already run in the district include:

    • Grayshott Cricket Club who have developed a new ladies team
    • A new regular netball session being established in Petersfield
    • Chawton Park Bowls Club had 90% of their 39 participants join their club

    Sports clubs from across the district are members of the sports councils who act as support bodies. They are able to give small grants, support training opportunities, hold sport achievement awards and act as a voice for the sports clubs.
