Discretionary Housing Payments
If you have been awarded Housing and or Council Tax Benefit, but it is less than your eligible rent or Council Tax, and you are in financial difficulty, you may be entitled to some extra help called a Discretionary Housing Payment.

Local Scheme (War Pensions)
If you get a War Disablement Pension or War Widow's/Widower's Pension, we will disregard the whole amount of this income when calculating how much Housing and or Council Tax Benefit you are entitled to.
