Welcome to the Community Services Webpages

Please note that various parts of this website are still under construction and we are working to have these operational as soon as possible.

IntroductionSelborne Hangers

We work closely with communities to improve quality of life by developing their projects and initiatives. This support can take a number of forms including the provision of funding, advice and training.

We run a number of services including the Council’s Leisure Centre contracts and Economic Development and Tourism. Information on all of our services can be found in these web-pages.

We help achieve the Council’s corporate priorities and the aims of the East Hampshire Community Strategy. At present these particularly relate to:

  • more people benefiting from improved or new community facilities;
  • more people taking regular exercise;
  • providing better facilities for children and young people and giving them a say in their communities;
  • helping people feel safer where they live;
  • supporting the Voluntary Sector; and
  • encouraging local employment opportunities in small and medium sized businesses.
