Community Planning
Community planning is a process through which a council and its public sector partners, in consultation with the voluntary and private sector, and the community, can agree a strategic vision for the area and the action which each of the partners will take in pursuit of that vision.
How does the team assist local community planning?
The Community Team supports communities in preparing Village Design Statements, Town Health Checks, Parish Plans and also administers regular Community Forums. Follow the links below for more information on local community planning in East Hampshire:
- North West - Alton, Four Marks etc and surrounding villages.
- North East - Whitehill/Bordon, Liphook, Headley, Grayshott, Lindford and surrounding vilages.
- Central - Petersfield, Liss and surrounding villages.
- South - Horndean, Clanfield and Rolands Castle.
