East Hampshire Tourism Action Plan

Tourism logoThis is agreed annually by the East Hampshire Tourism and Marketing Partnership. The partnership's objectives are:

  • to support existing tourism businesses 
  • to encourage sustainable development of the local tourism product, including the development / diversification of more quality and affordable accommodation. 
  • to build on a brand image which is meaningful to the consumer and which conveys the qualities which make East Hampshire a desirable place to visit 
  • to adopt a marketing approach which will increase the value of tourism without increasing visitor pressures and to sustain the high quality 
    environment 
  • to research the market for short breaks in the area and monitor visitor trends, customer satisfaction and performance
  • to welcome visitors and provide a quality and valued information service that adds to the total enjoyment of their stay
  • to enhance East Hampshire' s reputation for quality as a destination to visit and enjoy
  • to develop partnerships to enable these objectives to be achieved.
