SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION

East Hampshire District Council takes the protection of children and young people very seriously, and seeks to do all that it can to protect young people in our community.

The District Council also has its own Safeguarding Policy which outlines the procedures that we will undertake to safeguard the young people with whom we work.

EHDC contributes both financially and in officer time to the Hampshire Safeguarding Children Board (HSCB)

 The Council annually reviews its Safeguarding procedures and strives to improve and adapt these as required.
