Double Family Fun
Thanks to the generosity of Mike O’Neil and the Trustees of the Hampshire & IoW Educational Trust, a group of very important youngsters and their families had a great day out at Christmas in Basingstoke.
The double bill of fun began with some high scoring 10 pin bowling in the morning at the Bowlplex in Basingstoke, followed by a basket lunch. Then there was a short trip into the town centre for the 2pm audio transcribed performance of Mary Norton’s famous book ‘The Borrowers.’
It was a splendid performance & everyone had a great day out, complete with Christmas cake, kindly provided by
Monica Hatfield, who wrote to us to say:
“Thank you very much for all your hard work that went into producing a most enjoyable morning at the bowlplex, Aneska & Amalie had an excellent time & enjoyed meeting friends old and new.”
The Chandler family also wrote in to say: “Thanks to you & your sponsors for a great day out….The Borrowers was great, really good.”
