New Website comes to life for Horndean
Horndean Community Association is excited that over a year of community involvement in design, research and content has resulted in its new website coming on line.
Manager Brendan Charles said, "We are all really proud of the new site. It is much bigger than our previous one, with more pages and with more detail on exactly what we do and what we can offer in our activities, whether it's a pre-school place or assistance in creating a private celebration package to suit your taste.
"I am really excited at our community page that gives everyone a chance to have a say on what is going on around them for their benefit. Horndean is going through some exciting developments at the moment."
The site comes complete with new pictures and downloadable forms and as with all good websites all the relevant contact details are available.
Supported by funding from Hampshire County Council Community team, the site is a result of a series of workshops, for all ages, led by local IT company Horndean.net who built the site based on the design brief as given by users of the association who took part in the rebuild process.
For up and coming events, there is a direct link to the Horndean.net site which details all events and specials through their community page... just click onto community then the word 'Merchistoun' and you're there!
Downloadable copies of their seasonal 'Merchistoun Matters' magazine will also become a regular feature of the website.
