Open Sight Christmas Revue
7.30pm, Thursday 20 December 2007, at The Point in Eastleigh
Open Sight, formerly Hampshire Association for the Care of the Blind, is presenting its first ever Christmas Revue at The Point, Eastleigh at 7.30pm on Thursday 20 December.
A magical evening of music and festive revelry, there is a guest appearance by South Today presenter Dani Sinha. The cast also includes members of Eastleigh and Southampton Operatic Societies and sight-impaired youngsters from Toynbee School, as well as the Jane Mckinnon School of Dance.
Dani Sinha said: "This show is all about people in the south getting together and having old-fashioned, simple fun! So come and join the party and support Open Sight, a very worthwhile charity which helps over 4,000 sight-impaired people of all ages in Hampshire".
The project has come about because the children at Toynbee wanted to do some sort of show and Open Sight has found enthusiastic local directors Lyn and Tony Austin from Miscellany Productions, who have willingly given their time to organise and co-ordinate the event.
