Pianist urgently needed for forthcoming production of 'Bugsy Malone'
Young performers of Merchistoun Hall Youth theatre group are urgently seeking a pianist to give them musical support for their forthcoming musical 'Bugsy Malone', due to be staged at Merchistoun Hall in June.
'This really is panic measures now,' says Brendan Charles, workshop leader - I have been trying to secure a pianist for a long time now but all my contacts have been unavailable for the dates we have the licence for.'
The show is due to be presented at Merchistoun Hall on Saturday June 31st and for two performances.
Musical scores are available for pre-reading for anyone who is available to help, along with a few early evening Sunday dates needed as well.
'The cast have been rehearsing their songs for a long time now and I am confident that they will be able to adapt to a live piano with no problem - we have some funds for a fee.'
