T-Dance DJ's needed for popular weekly dances at Merchistoun Hall
Organisers of the highly successful Thursday Tea Dances at Merchistoun Hall, Horndean, are urgently seeking volunteer DJ's.
Manager Brendan Charles said: "We have been very fortunate to have secured two volunteers that have been with us for a long time and proved very popular with our dancers, but one has now moved on and is working in other areas of entertainment, which has sadly left us with just one.
"As a short-term measure one of the dancers has kindly stepped in but the organizers are aware that this young lady comes to dance.
"We are so grateful for her help but she really has come to be entertained and not to entertain. It really is putting pressure on our remaining DJ. All equipment, music and play lists are provided by our co-ordinators Jack and Nellie."
Brendan Charles said it is an ideal volunteer role for anyone enjoying music and entertaining.
