How do you put your views to a Planning Committee?
The opportunity to make comments in person is provided for major and controversial applications on Section I of the agenda.  If you are an applicant or an objector for a Section I application we will tell you in advance when you have a right to speak to the Committee, and you must notify us by 4.00pm on the day before the meeting if you do wish to make verbal representations.

Only one objector will be allowed to speak per application.  Therefore, if you believe there are others who object to the scheme, you should get together to appoint a spokesperson.  If you cannot agree who should speak then the objector who asked us first will be the one permitted to speak.

Please note that you will not be permitted to record the proceedings, or take photographs unless agreed with an officer.
