    Welcome to the Environmental Protection Webpages

    The following pages are designed to help the public understand the role that we have and how we can help in any problems.     One way to reduce fuel bills and help the environment is to insulate your home - East Hampshire District Council have teamed up with British Gas to offer reduced cost insulation and a reduction on your council tax - click here for details!
     
    Or if you are on an income related benefit - you may be able to apply for a warm front grant which covers a wider range of energy efficiency measures, for more details check out the Eaga website, the company who manages the scheme on behalf of the Government.

    On the more global stage, the World Health Organisation is looking into climate change and also has a good links page for more in depth research into the issue.

    The Environment Agency also cover a wide range of environmental issues including flooding, waste management and water quality, following this link to the Environment Agency website.
