    Energy Efficiency

The council works with partner organisations to promote cost effective means of improving the energy efficiency of homes. Our priorities in Private Sector Housing are making sure that people are warm enough in winter and that their fuel bills are as low as possible by encouraging people to install measures such as loft and cavity wall insulation and energy efficient boilers.

We actively target the most vulnerable people in the community whose health could be seriously affected if they do not keep warm enough.

For more information on how to lower your fuel bills, where to get grants for insulation and renewable energy and other energy efficiency information please see our FAQs  on energy efficiency.

East Hampshire District Council has teamed up with The Environment Centre (TEC) to provide better energy advice. To speak to a trained energy advisor about all aspects of saving energy and lowering fuel bills, ring 0800 8048601.
