Housing Development - Development Updates
So far in 2011/12, the following affordable housing schemes have been completed:
London Road, Holybourne: 2 x 2 bed homes for shared ownership and 2 x 3 bed homes for rent were completed in May 2011. These properties are managed by Sovereign Kingfisher .
Rear of Cranford Road/ Borough Road, Petersfield:
9 family homes for rent, including one especially adapted with facilities for a disabled person, were provided by Radian in June 2011.
Due for completion 2011/12:
Chawton Park Road, Alton: A total of 54 affordable homes are being built on this development by Sentinel Housing Association, a mix of affordable rent, intermediate rent and shared ownership. Homes ranging from 1 bed flats to 3 bed houses will be available for occupation from late summer 2011.
Albert Road, Alton: 9 homes, ranging from 1 bed flats to 2 bed houses are being developed for rent, due to complete in the Autumn 2011. These homes will be managed by Sovereign Kingfisher.
Completed 2010/11:
Whitaker Way, Grayshott: An over 55's development of 16 x 1 and 2 bed flats and bungalows for rent by Radian was ready for occupation at the end of March 2011.
Orchard Lane, Alton: 14 x 1 and 2 bed flats were constructed for rent by Petersfield Housing Association and occupied in February 2011.
Lansdowne Road, Alton: 1 x 2 bed house for rent by Radian, completed February 2011.
Harold Gardens, Alton: 5 x 2 bed and 5 x 3 bed houses for rent by Radian were completed in February 2011.
Mill Road, Liss: 2 x 2 bed houses were completed in December 2010 for rent , managed by Radian.
Westburn Fields, Froyle: Four new affordable rented homes replacing two inadequate dwellings were completed in October/ November 2010 by Radian. The development of 2 x 2 bed houses and 2 x 3 bed houses included one home especially adapted for a disabled resident in the village. 
Barley Court, Alton: Fourteen two bed flats in the centre of Alton were completed in May 2010. Managed by Sovereign Kingfisher, 10 of these are for rent and 4 Newbuild HomeBuy. For details on Newbuild HomeBuy, a part buy part rent government scheme, please visit the HomesinHants website.
