Housing Development 

 Our main responsibilities include: 

•  Promoting the development of affordable housing in the district. If you know of any land that could be made available for potential sites please contact us using the details below. Our target is to deliver 90 affordable homes in 2011/12. We are in partnership with other local authorities through  HARAH to deliver rural affordable housing.
• Part buy/ rent Schemes. We work together with our partner Housing Associations and the Homebuy Agent for low cost home ownership, by monitoring applications and advertising schemes.   
•  Promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy sources in housing development. If you have any ideas or know of any successful schemes we could implement in East Hampshire please let us know.
