Land and Property
EHDC leases industrial properties, shops and other commercial properties.The purpose of the Land and Property Group is to ensure the council's property assets are managed to best advantage and to procure good management and valuation services.
The Land and Property Group is made up of a Land and Property Manager, a Property Surveyor, a Building Surveyor and a Property Technical Officer.
The services we provide are:
Corporate Property Services
We make sure the council's property resources are deployed to maximum benefit. This includes policy advice, the continuous review of council-owned land, the disposal of surplus land assets and maintenance of the council's property ownership records.
Management of Commercial Tenanted Property
These include:
- Woolmer Trading Estate in Bordon
- Rams Walk shopping centre in Petersfield (ground lease to the Prudential who manage this shopping centre)
- Liss Business Centre comprising various workshops and offices (managed by Enterprise First)
- Estate and village shops, mainly in the north of the district
Markets
We manage and promote Petersfield Market and the license of Hampshire Farmers' Markets in Petersfield Square.
Valuation
We provide or procure property and valuation advice to the council.
