    Attending an Interview
     

    This page is designed to give you all the information you need when attending an interview at East Hampshire District Council. If you have a question and can't find the answer here, please contact the HR Team on 01730 234047.

    How to find us

    Map and directions to the East Hampshire District Council offices at Penns Place, Petersfield. If travelling by car visitor parking is available. You should arrive 10 minutes before the start time of your interview.

    What you will need to bring with you
     
    You will need to bring evidence of your qualifications and ask that you bring along the original certificates to the interview.

    To ensure we comply with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, we require all candidates who are not currently employed by East Hampshire District Council to produce documentation that proves they are entitled to work in the UK. This documentation must be the originals and not copies.

    These documents include a UK or Republic of Ireland passport, national identity card, UK residence permit or National Insurance number (P45, P60, payslip etc), along with birth certificate, a letter from the Home Office or an immigration status document, or a work permit, along with a passport or a letter from the Home Office confirming the work permit.

    Please bring the originals with you to the interview so that we can take copies for our records.

    Medical Clearance
     
    If you are offered employment this will be subject to a medical clearance.

    Presentations
     
    If you have been asked to give a presentation please let the HR Team know what equipment, if any, you will need to give your presentation prior to attending the interview.

    Access
     
    Please remember to let us know in advance if you have a disability or any other access requirements so that we can ensure you are able to participate fully in the interview process.
