We are committed to providing a value for money service that meets our customers’ needs.

East Hampshire District Council Local Land Charges Section will:

• ensure that Local Search Certificates are completed efficiently and accurately within a timescale of five working days (subject to complexity of search)
• endeavour to respond to all correspondence within five working days
• publicise through the Local Law Society and other bodies all increases in fees (with the exclusion of exceptional circumstances, the change of fees will take place on an annual basis)
• make available the guidelines for the procedures of personal searches
• to constantly improve our services in line with customer expectations
