Planning Policy

The planning policy team prepare planning policies and provide advice to guide development so that it protects and enhances East Hampshire as an extremely attractive area in which to live and work.

Policy Documents

This involves the preparation of a number of different documents:

The East Hampshire District Local Plan: Second Review
This is the adopted local plan which sets out the planning policies against which planning applications are judged.

The Local Development Framework
Work has started on the Local Development Framework which will eventually replace the Local Plan Second Review
