Town and Parish Survey: Community Facilities provision 2006
During 2006 information was collected from each town and parish about community facilities in their area. It includes information on things like village halls, health centres, playschemes, and sports facilities.
The survey also asked what extra facilities might be needed, and if those already there were under pressure or needed upgrading.

Housing Market Assessment
A Housing Market Assessment looks at housing need and demand in a housing market area to help develop housing planning policies and respond to changing household requirements.
East Hampshire lies within two housing market areas: Central Hampshire and South Hampshire. Each Housing Market Assessment was undertaken with the other Councils that lie within the housing market areas.
The Central Hampshire Housing Market Assessment 2007 and separate appendices can be downloaded at the bottom of the page.
The Impact of Introducing a Sliding Scale Approach to Affordable Housing.
One of the options for increasing the delivery of affordable housing within the district is to introduce a sliding scale approach. This is a series of site size thresholds above which different affordable housing targets are sought.
In 2007 The Council commissioned a study to see what impact introducing the sliding scale approach would have on the viability of housing development.
