There are two documents to explain exactly what you need submit with any application:

Local Planning Application Requirements
The document is divided into three parts:
- Part I contains compulsory requirements for the submission of an application, some of which are required by law and other information that we consider necessary in all cases
- Part II contains additional information which may be necessary for certain application types
- Part III contains validation checklists for the different application types based on the information contained in Part II. The checklist for each application type is included on the relevant webpage, not in the main document.
If the information required in Parts I to III is not included with any application we are entitled to declare the application invalid and not register it.
Planning Portal
It is recommended that you send your application electronically through the Planning Portal, but it is still be possible to submit a paper-based application if you wish.
