Commercial, trade or industrial waste
Although
East Hampshire District Council has a responsibility to arrange for the collection of commercial it does not currently run a trade waste collection service as there are many commercial companies with competative rates. Businesses are obliged by law to dispose of their waste using an authorised waste collection agent, who will charge for this service.
The council sold its direct trade waste service to Veolia ES Onyx Ltd in 2001.
Other trade/commercial refuse collection companies
There are a number of other reputable trade/commercial refuse collection companies as well as Veolia who operate in the district, and will collect all types of waste at times that suit you.
We can provide a list of commercial waste collectors on request, or alternatively you can find details through the Yellow Pages.
Recycling commercial waste
The council is currently unable to provide recycling to businesses. There are other companies who do provide this service in East Hampshire. Further details can be found below.
