The council is responsible for the management of the funeral service and burial operations at five council owned cemeteries in: 

• Catherington 
• Petersfield
• West Liss
• Whitehill
• Alton.

The council holds records for these cemeteries and will deal with requests for information about the location of plots. Queries about burial records for churches should be directed to the individual church or the Winchester Record Office, Sussex Street, Winchester on 01962 846154.
