Tracey Wood, Head of Community Engagement at East Hampshire District Council, said: “Due to the coronavirus pandemic the Spring into Health event is a bit different this year, with many of the activities and classes going online.

“Nonetheless there is still a huge number of activities and opportunities to take part in. You can try something new, learn a skill, get some exercise and makes some friends.

“For the first time we have included sessions specifically aimed at supporting people looking to get back into work with employability webinars, technical skills and redundancy workshops.

“The pandemic has been a very difficult time for a lot of people so we are heavily focused on mental health, with courses on improving self-esteem, mindfulness and managing anxiety.”

Booking is required for many courses, some of which begin from mid-April and continue throughout May.
