Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) calculator

The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) applies to residential, hotel and retail developments and is based on the new gross Internal floor area.

This calculator provides indicative values however the final figure will need to be agreed with the development management team.

For mixed schemes you will need to provide the total GIA for the whole development and the floorspace for each development type.

The calculator will calculate the CIL charge prior to the indexed rate. If your planning decision is issued in 2022 the amount of CIL due will increase by approximately 22.51%.
