I have seen a fly-tip – what should I do?

Please continue to report fly-tipping to us by using our online My EHDC portal. We will endeavour to clear the fly-tip as quickly as possible, however, in the event of staff shortages this may take longer than usual at this time.

The litter bin in my road or local park is full – what should I do?

Our teams are still out emptying litter bins and will get to your local one, but it might take longer than usual.

In the event of staff shortages, the teams will prioritise litter bins in high footfall areas.

If you see a litter bin that is overflowing, please report this to us by using our online My EHDC portal and we will empty it as soon as we can.

Your teams are out grass cutting – is this essential work?

Our grass cutting and grounds maintenance teams are still out working in the district.

They are prioritising open space areas and verges on busy junctions in order to maintain sight lines and to keep open spaces in a good condition for residents to enjoy while taking their allowed daily exercise.

All our crews have been briefed using industry guidance and wherever possible are adhering to these.

Our grounds maintenance crews are also providing support to other essential services, such as refuse collections, when required.
