Glass collections - week commencing 26 July
Owing to staff illness some collections of glass are running behind schedule. Full list of roads affected will be updated on our main bin collections webpage.
Please keep your glass boxes out and Norse South East will catch up throughout the week.
You only need to report a missed bin if you notice that your neighbour's bin has been collected, but yours hasn't.
Glass is collected from homes every four weeks. Your glass should be put out in a 38 litre box.
What can go in?
Rinsed out glass bottles and jars of all colours (without corks or tops).
What can’t go in?
- Light bulbs
- Glass panes
- Lead crystal glass
- Non-glass items
- Broken glass (this should be carefully wrapped and put into your refuse bin)
We won't be able to take your box if it has incorrect items, and you'll have to remove these before the next collection.
Too much glass?
Only glass in your EHDC box can be collected. If you regularly have excess glass, additional glass boxes can be purchased online. Only 38 litre boxes will be collected.
