Send us your community litter pick-tures!

Litter-pick

Community groups will soon have the chance to play their part in our great Spring Clean Campaign by organising a litter-pick in their own area.

And we can give your litter-pickers the credit they deserve by publishing your photos on our social media pages.

Our Spring Clean Campaign has increased our own street-scene work across the district. And next week that effort will dove-tail with the national Keep Britain Tidy campaign, which encourages local people to grab a bin-bag and scour their towns and villages for rubbish.

We can help support your community litter-picks by providing tools, bin-bags and hi-vis clothes and we can come and collect your full-up bags at the end of the event.

What’s more, you can show the world the work you’ve done by sending us photos of your event for us to share on our Facebook page and social media channels.

We want our pages to be chock full of pictures showing all the wonderful volunteers willing to risk the rain and the wind to make their towns and villages look amazing.

So, if you’re organising a litter-pick, send a photo to our Communications Team at communications@easthants.gov.uk and we will post it on our Facebook page. Alternatively, if you have a Facebook page of your own, tag us in and we will share it.

The Keep Britain Tidy Campaign runs from 17 March- 2 April. If you want to run a community litter-pick during that time and you want our support, go to EHDC’s website to register your interest, request support and find out what you need to do to make sure the event goes off safely.
