Everything is ready for your new waste collection service, which starts on Monday (30 September).
The company delivering the contract, Havant Borough Council’s (HBC) Joint Venture Norse South East (NSE), has new vehicles and staff ready for the start of the contract.
Bin collection calendars have been sent to every home in the district, so residents know exactly when to put out which bin. Rubbish, recycling and glass will now be collected over five days.
NSE will also be taking on garden waste collections, cleaning East Hampshire’s streets and public toilets, and grounds maintenance around the district.
Our EHDC customer services team is ready to take your calls with automated phone systems for reporting missed bins. You’ll also be able to contact the council 24/7 using your MyEHDC account and updated webpages.
EHDC has also signed a delegation agreement with HBC which includes the final details of how the service will operate.
