A spectacular evening of comedy, music and great food will raise money for two charities chosen by East Hampshire District Council’s Chairman, Cllr Keith Budden.
Held on the evening of 26 October at Rake Village Hall, the event will raise cash for the Crossover Centre, Liss and Dementia Friendly Hampshire.
The audience will enjoy a two-course dinner, prepared by a team from Cloisters restaurant in Petersfield, while musical entertainment will be provided by local folk duo, The Flying Bow band.
The MC for the evening will be up and coming comedian Gary Tro who will introduce three great acts.
James Dowdeswell has appeared in Extras, Russell Howard’s Good News and Celebrity Deal or No Deal. Maddy Anholt appears in a number of Radio 4 comedy programmes and now regularly co-hosts on TalkRadio with Jamie East. Grant Buse, an Australian musical comedian, ex Neighbours star and star of Basil Brush Unleashed, is fitting in the event as part of his European tour – which now includes Edinburgh, London, Paris - and Rake.
Tickets for the evening’s entertainment are £30 per head or £270 for a table for ten with all proceeds going to the Crossover Centre and Dementia Friendly Hampshire. Tickets can be booked by calling Kim Combes on 01730 234002.
