Ropley residents vote in Neighbourhood Plan Referendum

Ropley residents will have a say in the future of their village when they are asked to vote on a Neighbourhood Plan in July.

The referendum will be held on Thursday 11 July at Ropley Village Hall, Vicarage Lane, SO24 0DU.

Voters will be asked if they want the neighbourhood plan, drawn up by local people, to be used by East Hampshire District Council when deciding planning applications in the area.

Polling hours will run from 7am - 10pm with the count following directly after close of poll.

Residents will need to make sure they are on the electoral register by Tuesday 25 June.

Postal Vote Applications must be returned to the council by 5pm Wednesday 26 June while Proxy Vote Applications must be back by 5pm Wednesday 3 July.
