Additional Christmas payments from Hampshire County Council
Hampshire County Council is offering an extra £200 per Homes for Ukraine guest to provide financial support over the holiday period.
The support is in the form of vouchers provided through their partners on Edenred, a leading digital platform for services and payments. This extra payment applies to all guests in Hampshire as part of the scheme.
Please check your junk and spam filters in emails as they may have automatically filtered into one of these.
Applications close on Tuesday 31 January 2023.
If you have not received the voucher, please choose from option below:
1) If you are a Homes for Ukraine guest still living in Hampshire but are no longer living with a host, you can apply for the payment by completing this form.
2) If you are a Homes for Ukraine guest still living in Hampshire with a host and have not received your Christmas vouchers, you can apply for the payment by completing this form.
3) If you have received your eVoucher code but it is not working, please check your inbox for a second email from us with corrected codes. Once you have checked that you are using the codes from the second email, if your code still won't work, please complete this form. Please make sure you provide as much information as possible, such as the full names of the people in your group, the numbers of the codes you have already received.

English lessons for guests
English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) at Havant College, South Downs College and Alton College
ESOL classes are available for different levels through HSDC which have campuses at Alton College, Havant College and South Downs College. The next course starts in April 2023. All prospective students will be required to sit an assessment to gauge their level prior to them starting. Email adultlearning@hsdc.ac.uk to find out more information and book your place.
Local ESOL courses
We are working with the Rural Refugee Network to host local ESOL classes in areas across the district in early 2023 so please contact us on ukrainesupport@easthants.gov.uk to register your interest.
FREE online English conversation classes for young people aged 11-18 years old
Free weekly online sessions beginning in January 2023.
Open to all levels of English, ranging from basic to advanced.
Fun games and activities to help improve English communication skills
The free sessions are available to all refugees and asylum seekers.

Citizens Advice East Hampshire
Citizens Advice East Hampshire offer ongoing support and advice online and from locations around the district.
They provide face to face drop in sessions at locations in Alton, Petersfield and Whitehill & Bordon and can answer any questions you may have around benefits, income advice, debt advice, universal credit.
You can complete their online referral form, give them a call on 080 8278 7901 or visit your local office (opening hours are on the website).
Woodlands Community Hall, Headley Down
Green Wave football session for pre-school children
Starting in January 2023, Green Wave are offering football fun in the hall for pre-school children, Saturdays from 8.30am. The first term of sessions are FREE and you can book your child's space through the Green Wave website.
Bordon Boxing
Bordon Amateur Boxing Club have made their new home at Woodlands! This is a club founded and run by ABA qualified coaches. Sessions are every Monday and Wednesday evening.
Suitable for 8-13 year olds (6-7pm) and 13+ year olds (7-8.30pm) for £5 a session.
Equipment provided for new starters.

Assure Coaching
Assure run popular football funday sessions for boys and girls of all ages and abilities. Join them on Sundays from 10-11am for just £3 a session.

Woodlands Wrigglers Toddler Group
Starting on Monday 6 February from 10-11.30am. Bring your little wriggler to enjoy toys, books and new friends at this free toddler group for ages 0-3.
Spring Kids’ Crafternoon!
Saturday 18 February 2-4pm
Free craft activities provided for kids of all ages, with a focus on nature and our local wildlife. This activity afternoon is held in partnership with Headley Down Nature Reserve and South Downs National Park Authority.

Health and wellbeing
Get Up & Go!
The Get Up & Go! programme provides physical activity classes for East Hampshire residents who are 18 or over with a physical or mental health condition.
The programme is funded by Hampshire County Council.

Wellbeing Walks
Wellbeing Walks are free to attend and suitable for people of all abilities, from beginners to more experienced walkers. It’s a great way to improve your health and wellbeing and meet new people.
All walks are led by trained walk leaders who are there to offer information and support on the walk. You will need suitable footwear and comfortable clothing as walks take place in all weathers.
For first time walkers, we recommend calling or going to the website to check the walk is going ahead.

Hampshire Healthy Families is a partnership between Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Barnardo's to deliver the healthy child programme across Hampshire.
