Key areas in the Taro Leisure Centre, at Penns Place, will be upgraded and refurbished to bring them up to the modern standard.
The upgrades, along with alterations to the internal layout, make a substantial impact on the standard and variety of services on offer at the centre.
The main entrance will be altered to provide a focal point for customers approaching the leisure centre and to provide additional natural light into the main reception area.
The changing facilities, café and air circulation in the building will also be improved
On first floor level the fitness and spin studio will be extended and fully refurbished.
