Breakout Youth is an independent charity offering confidential service to LGBTQ+ youth who are feeling isolated/confused.

Childline offer a free helpline. You can call them on 0800 1111. It will not appear on your phone bill.  

Crossover (serving Liss and the surrounding area) provides therapy sessions which are available for local young people aged 8–19.

East Hants Primary Care Network (PCN) is a group of GP practices who are working together with local providers to offer coordinated health and social care to local population. Youth Café at St Marks Church in Bordon (11–17-year-olds) offers a place to relax, meet up with friends or chat to a member of Wellbeing Team from East Hants PCN.

Family Counselling Trust (serving Hampshire) provides early intervention counselling to children and young people aged up to 18.

Hampshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) aim to help young people up to 18 who are finding it hard to manage their emotional, psychological and mental health. Check the threshold information on the website for eligibility.

Hampshire Youth Access is a partnership of agencies providing counselling, information and advice to children and young people aged 5 to 17.

Havant and East Hants MIND. The Children and Young People’s Safe Haven is open to all 11- to 17-year-olds living in Havant, East and South East Hants. Just drop in for face-to-face mental health support. There is no need to book an appointment before attending. They offer telephone support on their freephone number 0300 303 1580 for those unable to attend in person.

I’m All Ears provides free counselling, low-cost counselling and specialist counselling (serving North East Hampshire).

InSync Project is an early intervention programme offered to children and young people to support their mental health and self-esteem (referrals via schools in East Hampshire).

INTERIM is a registered charity providing counselling and psychoeducation to individuals and families in East Hampshire (website in progress).

Kooth offers an online emotional support and counselling service. The service is provided for young people aged 11-25. Counsellors are available from 12noon to 10pm on weekdays, and 6pm to 10pm on weekends for drop-ins. Sessions can also be pre-booked.  

Off the Record (serving East Hampshire and Havant) offers information, support and counselling for young people aged 11-25.

Papyrus is a website for the prevention of young suicide through help and advice.

PARCS provides free specialist counselling and psychotherapy for people who have experienced sexual and/or domestic abuse based in the Portsmouth and South East Hampshire area. Services include support for young people who display harmful sexual behaviour.

Pathways to Resilience offer a programme to children and young people in a fun, creative and accessible way, to recognize and manage their more challenging emotions (the programme is delivered in primary and secondary schools in Hampshire).

Rowan’s Meerkat Service (serving South East Hampshire) provides specialist support to children and young people who have a family member with a life-limiting illness, or who are bereaved.

SANE this service is for anyone over the age of 16, there are alternative services for those under 16 (support@sane.org.uk).

Sasha's Project is a drop-in crisis centre for young people who are struggling with their mental health. Based in Fleet, the centre supports young people in crisis in Hampshire and Surrey Borders.

Self-Harm is full of information about who self-harms, why people might self-harm and what you can do to help or support. It includes myths and information to help you stay safe during recovery.

Simon Says - Child Bereavement Support this service supports Hampshire young people up to the age of 18 years who have a significant person in their life who has died or is dying. Support line number is 02380647550.

Solent MIND Self-Harm Support Hub offers a dedicated space for parents, carers, professionals and people who self-harm.

Support Line provide confidential emotional to children, young adults and adults. This advice can be accessed via phone, email or post. The helpline can be reached on 01708 765200. A particular focus of Support Line is providing support to adult survivors of childhood abuse.  

The King’s Arms (serving Petersfield, Alton and the surrounding areas) provides youth provision for young people aged 11-18. The mental health provision includes mentoring and courses to support self-esteem and tackling anxiety.

The Mix provide crisis support to young people aged 11-25. This support can be accessed in a variety of ways. They have a free helpline open from 4pm to 11pm Monday to Friday, 0808 808 4994. During this time there is also the option to have a live one-to-one messenger chat. Young people can also email the helpline and get a response within 24 hours (Mon to Fri). They also offer a crisis messenger service, which can be contacted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
