The Good Causes from all across East Hampshire represent a wide range of different areas and interests, and they all receive cash from the weekly lottery draw.
Launched by East Hampshire District Council in April 2020, the lottery provides vital support to local organisations, community groups and projects that benefit the local community.
There is currently a total of 405 players supporting the lottery and 800 tickets sold each week, raising nearly £16,000 so far. For each £1 ticket sold, 60p goes directly to the Good Causes.
Each player of the lottery can select their chosen fund to support when signing up, along with the chance to win the jackpot of £25,000.

The lottery, which has been running for less than a year, reached the 50 milestone in a short space of time, despite a global pandemic. It is great news for the local community groups and charities who benefit from funds raised through ticket sales.
Organisers East Hampshire District Council is looking for even more Good Causes to sign themselves up to the lottery so they can take advantage of this exciting way to fundraise.
Deputy Leader, Councillor Julie Butler, Welfare and Community Integration Portfolio, said: “This month we welcomed our 50th Good Cause to our lottery! This is a milestone we're really proud to have achieved, especially just before we celebrate our first birthday in April.
If you are a good cause in East Hampshire, I would really encourage you to sign up. It’s completely free to be a part of.
“It’s a fun way to fundraise, so our amazing charities and community projects in East Hants can continue to provide important services, while our residents can play along and win prizes.”
When groups from across the district register as one of our Community Lottery Good Causes they are provided with their own lottery page, and will receive 50p from every pound spent by players choosing to support them.
A further 10p in every pound goes into the East Hampshire Community Fund, through which local groups can apply for small grants to support their work.
East Hampshire District Council does not take any money from the sale of the lottery tickets.
