Unauthorised development in Medstead
You may be aware that caravans moved onto a field in Medstead at the junction of Abbey Road and Wivelrod Road on the evening of Friday 22 May.
Council officers attended the site after receiving reports of the caravans arriving over the bank holiday weekend.
We have visited the site several times this week and are taking robust action to address the situation as quickly as possible.
A stop notice was issued on Friday 29 May and we will be issuing proceedings on Monday 1 June with the High Court for an injunction to prevent any further unauthorised development of this site.
