Rural business growth grant

As part of the Full Council budget setting on 27 February 2025, an allocation of £225,000 was approved to support additional rural economic development initiatives.

From this funding, £201,651 has been proposed for the rural business growth grant.

The rural business growth grant aims to strengthen the rural economy by enabling local businesses to deliver projects that contribute to long‑term growth, productivity, and community benefit.
