Terracycle project in Alton
We have supported Alton Climate & Action Network (ACAN) to expand their Terracycle project in Alton.
ACAN has installed collection boxes at 5 locations across the town in recycle a number of items that cannot be widely recycled – bread wrappers, biscuit packets, chocolate bar wrappers, pringles tubes, coffee pouches, household cleaning pouches.
ACAN has worked to engage the community in recycling and to contribute to a circular economy through the scheme and have volunteers that support the project.
