Food banks distribute emergency free food to those in need who may be struggling to afford enough food to eat.

Local community pantries and food larders

Community Pantries and Food Larders help people to access affordable food. These schemes operate like small shops and are usually accessed via a small membership fee, allowing people to receive food worth a much higher value.

Clanfield mobile food larder

The FareShare mobile food larder open to all across the area at The Clanfield Centre every Thursday 1-2:30pm. You can join this membership scheme to help make your money go further and help prevent food waste too. Email fssoutherncentral@fareshare.org.uk for more information.

Woodlands Community Hall mobile food larder

The FareShare Southern Central is working in partnership with Citizens Advice on this mobile food larder open to all across the area at Woodlands Community Hall car park every Tuesday from 1pm to 2.30pm, to support individuals, giving them access to good quality food.

Community cupboards

Community cupboards are established to help tackle food waste and are available to everyone.

They provide surplus foods and products to anyone, with the aim of avoiding unnecessary waste.

Four Marks Community Cupboard

We meet every Thursday at Church of the Good Shepherd Lymington Bottom, Four Marks from 3.30pm-4.15pm. We run a cafe and chat alongside the cupboard which distributes excess food from local supermarkets to the community.
