The Wellbeing Walks scheme has the goal of improving the health and wellbeing of the community through regular walks. This is a nationwide project hosted by the Ramblers, with over 10,000 volunteers who help to organise and lead the walks. Wellbeing Walks are designed to be accessible for all, being no more than three miles, or ninety minutes in length.

We currently have 14 scheduled walks across East Hampshire’s wonderful countryside. All Wellbeing Walks are free to attend. For further information on each of the individual walks, please see below table or visit the website and use the search function to find the closest walks to you.

If you are interested in joining a walk, please feel free to come along on the day!

For anyone who would like to join our incredible team of volunteer walk leaders, please reach out to healthwalks@easthants.gov.uk to register your interest.

To become a walk leader, you would need to complete some online training tasks, followed by half a day of in-person training. Once completed you can join an existing walk as a leader or begin setting up your own walk.
