The period following a diagnosis of dementia can be a terribly worrying and confusing time. The key thing that people affected by a diagnosis can do is seek out help from the wide range of support groups that operate in the district.
East Hampshire District Council has worked with Dementia Friendly Petersfield to produce a directory for people who have been affected by a recent diagnosis of dementia.
The directory includes:
- Easy to use advice with checklists to ensure you can keep track of the steps you’ve taken
- Contact details for many local support groups
Printed versions of the booklet are available on request to the Welfare and Wellbeing Commissioning Officer Rebecca Davey by calling 01730234308 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
