We are currently seeking Independent Persons to support this important work by helping to ensure that councillors maintain the integrity and ethical standards our communities expect.

We’re looking for individuals who:
- are 18 years or older
- live or work in or near East Hampshire
- understand the local area and the challenges it faces
- are impartial, respected, and committed to fairness and equality
- share our values of openness, accountability, and principled leadership
Unfortunately, if you have been a district, town or parish councillor, co-opted member, or officer of East Hampshire District Council (or Havant Borough Council), in the last 5 years, you are unable to apply. This also includes a close friend or relative of someone in one of those roles.
